Ice Skating: February 20th @ 7:00 pm-9:30 pm

Junior High and High School: lace up your skates and join us for this cool event where we will go ice skating at the Nelson Center Ice Rink in Springfield. Meet up at WCC parking lot at 7pm! The cost for skating will be $8.

On Thursday, February 12, come out and join thousands of Christians as we lift our voices to worship our Savior at Winter Jam in Peoria!

This year’s headliners include Chris Tomlin, Matthew West, and Hulvey!

All ages are welcome to come! We will be leaving the WCC parking lot at 3:30 pm and carpooling over. The cost is $15 plus any food or drinks you wish to purchase. The $15 must be cash or check!

Breakfast for Lunch and Dessert Auction Youth Fundraiser: February 1 @ Noon

On Sunday, February 1st  at noon, we are having our big fundraiser to raise money to send our youth on our summer mission trip to serve in Louisville, Kentucky.  Join us at the church for a $5 pancake lunch provided and served by our youth group! Then stick around to bid on some mouth-watering desserts! There will be a silent and public auction for the pies.

Join us Friday, January 2, 6:00-8:00pm., and come wearing your wackiest socks and PJs, for a giant all-you-can-eat cereal bar and movie night! Prizes for weirdest socks, tallest socks, brightest socks, and most creative socks!

You are cordially invited to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, with a special Candlelight Service on Christmas Eve.

Take an hour out of your hectic Christmas schedule and activities and join us as we reflect on the importance of that special night.

It’s our annual Thanksgiving pot luck dinner! Come gather together with us and share a Thanksgiving meal

The church will provide the turkey, potatoes, and corn. You bring the sides!

This is a great opportunity to invite a neighbor to come with you to church and stay for the pot luck fellowship after the second service!

JH and HS students, bring your dancing shoes and join us at WCC for a Just Dance party on the big screen! Plus board game and video games like Fortnight, Jackbox, and Super Smash Bros! Invite some friends and make it happen!

Young people, it’s the last 5th Quarter of the season! Don’t miss it!

You can expect some inflatables, bonfire with S’Mores, hockey, pizza, and hot chocolate!

Junior High and High School students, dress up in your best costumes or fall outfits and climb aboard for a bumpy, fast-paced, fun ride through the haunted woods on the Carter Brothers Haunted Hayride n Sherman, Illinois!

Cost is $10 for the ride. Bring a few bucks more if you want any food or hot chocolate there.

THERE IS NO ESCAPE…(Or is there?)

It is a junior high and high school event on Sept 5 from 9pm-11pm at the church. Groups of up to 5 people can sign up to participate in an escape room that will be built in the church. They’ll have to put their heads together to solve the clues and escape! While waiting for their turn in the escape room, there will be 9 square, hockey, volleyball, video games, pizza, and snacks!

Junior High and High Schoolers, join us at the church on Sunday, August 31 as we gather together to praise our amazing creator and savior together! It is sure to be an awesome night of fellowship and worship so bring your friends!

Everybody Hit the Water!

Grab your swim gear and sunscreen and meet us at the church at 3:00pm to carpool over to spend an afternoon at Knights Action Park Splash Kingdom! Please bring a towel and money for concessions.

Food, Fun, Fellowship, Fried Chicken!

This year’s annual church picnic will be taking place on Sunday, July 13 at 12:00 following second service. The church will be providing fried chicken. Please sign-up to let us know what sides or desserts you can bring! A sign-up sheet is located in the lobby.

If you can’t bring a dish for any reason, please come anyway - we want you here!

Please join us at WCC for a service to begin Easter weekend, commemorating the crucifixion and death on the cross of Jesus Christ, as payment for the sins of the world.
