Junior High and High School Kids - Do you enjoy making fun videos? Well, here is your opportunity to make a movie and possibly and win an Oscar at the end of the night! Join us at WCC for the first Youth Oscars where you and your friends will pick a movie scene, act it out and at the end of the night, we will premier and share the short films that have been made and prizes will be given out. Will you be the next Oscar winner for actor, writer or funniest comedy and more.
Join us at 6:00 pm on April 10th for a fun-filled evening!
Join us as we serve a meal to the guests at the Helping Hands Shelter. You can help in three different ways. (1) At 3:00 pm, help cook the meal at WCC, (2) Carpool at 5:00pm to Helping Hands to serve the meal and/or (3) Help with both! See Seth Durbin for details.
Dodgeball is back! All ages are welcome (including adults and kids). Assemble your team to battle it out in the WCC Gym to secure the title of WCC Dodgeball Champions!
You must sign up on the Youth bulletin board in the WCC Narthex to participate!

All Youth Kids! Do you have the need speed or do you want to show off you mini golf skills, then join us for an evening of Mini Golf and Go-Kart racing at Knights Action Park.

Ice Skating: February 20th @ 7:00 pm-9:30 pm
Junior High and High School: lace up your skates and join us for this cool event where we will go ice skating at the Nelson Center Ice Rink in Springfield. Meet up at WCC parking lot at 7pm! The cost for skating will be $8.

You are cordially invited to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, with a special Candlelight Service on Christmas Eve.
Take an hour out of your hectic Christmas schedule and activities and join us as we reflect on the importance of that special night.

It’s our annual Thanksgiving pot luck dinner! Come gather together with us and share a Thanksgiving meal
The church will provide the turkey, potatoes, and corn. You bring the sides!
This is a great opportunity to invite a neighbor to come with you to church and stay for the pot luck fellowship after the second service!
JH and HS students, bring your dancing shoes and join us at WCC for a Just Dance party on the big screen! Plus board game and video games like Fortnight, Jackbox, and Super Smash Bros! Invite some friends and make it happen!

Junior High and High School students, dress up in your best costumes or fall outfits and climb aboard for a bumpy, fast-paced, fun ride through the haunted woods on the Carter Brothers Haunted Hayride n Sherman, Illinois!
Cost is $10 for the ride. Bring a few bucks more if you want any food or hot chocolate there.

THERE IS NO ESCAPE…(Or is there?)
It is a junior high and high school event on Sept 5 from 9pm-11pm at the church. Groups of up to 5 people can sign up to participate in an escape room that will be built in the church. They’ll have to put their heads together to solve the clues and escape! While waiting for their turn in the escape room, there will be 9 square, hockey, volleyball, video games, pizza, and snacks!

Time for Dippin’ Dots! at the Illinois State Fair!
One free small Dippin’ Dots to students of WCC only on the two Sundays of the Fair, Aug 10th & 17th. Find the stand on GrandStand Avenue and say "Scarlett sent me". Enjoy!
Everybody Hit the Water!
Grab your swim gear and sunscreen and meet us at the church at 3:00pm to carpool over to spend an afternoon at Knights Action Park Splash Kingdom! Please bring a towel and money for concessions.
This year’s annual church picnic will be taking place on Sunday, July 13 at 12:00 following second service. The church will be providing fried chicken. Please sign-up to let us know what sides or desserts you can bring! A sign-up sheet is located in the lobby.
If you can’t bring a dish for any reason, please come anyway - we want you here!
