JH and HS, dress up in your Halloween costume or fall outfits, and let's take a bumpy, fast-paced, and fun ride through the haunted woods on the Carter Brothers Haunted Hayride in Sherman, Illinois. Bring $15 to pay Seth for the ride and $10-15 if you want any food or hot chocolate there. We will meet and leave from WCC at 6:30 pm.
We will be inviting the community to WCC for a fun night of trick-or-treating and eating chili. If you or someone you know would like to enter the chili contest, please sign up in the lobby or talk to Phillip Wright about signing up. There will be a small prize for the winner of the contest as well as the coveted title of consummate chili champion.
We need your help to make this event happen! There is a sign-up sheet in the lobby where you can sign up to run a table, help with food, or lead a game. Saturday, November 7th at 9:00 a.m. for the final Bible Book Club of the year, where we will discuss the second half of Acts (chapters 15-28). This gathering will take place at Cindy Krebs's house, 516 Linden Lane in Williamsville. There will be breakfast served while we go through the remainder of Acts. Cindy Krebs will be facilitating this gathering. It should last no longer than two hours. A study guide will be passed out at the Next Steps station as soon as it is ready. In honor of Thanksgiving, high school is taking a trip to Buffalo Wild Wings. We’ll meet at the church at 6:00 pm and carpool over to the Bdubs on Dirksen. Invite a friend!
Do you need any help with any indoor or outdoor projects? Do you know someone in need who might want help with their yard or organizing things around the house? On Saturday, November 14th, the WCC youth group is going to be going out into the community of Williamsville to help with any projects people may have. Priority for projects will be given to the elderly and those who are medically or physically unable to labor.

On Sunday, November 15th, following our worship service, we will have a churchwide Thanksgiving potluck. There will be a sign-up in the lobby for anyone who would like to contribute to the potluck or help in setting up the facility.

We will gather for our annual Ladies Christmas party on Friday, December 4th at 5:30 p.m. The evening will begin with the Williamsville High School Madrigals performance, which always starts our evening off with wonderful songs that remind us of the season and why we gather to celebrate the birth of Our Lord, Jesus Christ. After this performance, we will enjoy a Sam’s Too Italian meal. While we savor our dessert, a devotion will be presented. Finally, the night would not be the same without some games. In keeping with the season of giving, we are foregoing the gift exchange this year and collecting food for either Inner City Mission or the Central Illinois Foodbank. A list of non-perishable suggested food items will be posted in the lobby in November.

We will be going through the book of Acts. If you want to get ahead, please begin reading and studying Acts. By mid-August, there will be a study guide that will help us to better understand Acts.

Junior High (5th-8th Grade) is from 3:15 to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesdays. Students will be picked up after school in the junior high back parking lot by the church vans and then taken back to WCC for snax, games, and Bible study.
High School (9th-12th Grade) will meet at WCC from 6:15-7:30 pm on Wednesdays. There will be pizza and snax, games, worship, and a Bible study.

The cost is $45 per person and includes lunch (Pork Chop Sandwiches), green fee, and cart.
The day starts at 9:00 am, and it will be a shotgun start.

Get ready for high adrenaline action as we go into the paintball battlefields on this day trip to Urban Warfare Paintball in Bloomington, IL.
Cost will be $40 per person. Paintball equipment is provided so you don’t need to have your own in order to join us.
From the beginning of July until August 1st, we will have a drop-off box in the WCC lobby to collect backpacks and school supplies for kids who use the services of Inner City Mission.
A list of the most needed items will be posted on the Bulletin Board.
At 10:00 am on August 1st, we will gather all the supplies and have a time of prayer over these supplies and the children that will be utilizing them.
The items will then be loaded into a vehicle to be transported the following week by a member of the Ministry team.
After we have loaded all the supplies, we will gather back into the WCC Gym to enjoy an easy craft…painting rocks.
All supplies will be provided, including rocks, unless you wish to bring your own supplies or rocks.
On Saturday, July 25th at 9:00 am, we will be hosting a breakfast potluck at WCC. This will give us a chance to catch up with each other or even get to know each other better in a more intimate setting.
There will also be a Devotional shared that morning by Jennifer Warnisher.
Please bring a breakfast item to share, and feel free to bring a friend or two.
