WCC Student Game Night
Invite a friend and join us for a night of games!
It will be an evening of board games and video games like Fortnite, Jackbox, and Super Smash Bros!
This is for Junior High and High School students.
Snax and sodas will be provided!
Junior High and High Schoolers! It’s not too late to join us on our mission trip to Louisville, Kentucky! See Seth for details and questions.
Join us for an evening of food, fellowship, and fun! We will meet at the church at 5:30 pm and carpool to the restaurant, or you can meet us at the restaurant at 6:00 pm. This is for men of all ages!
On Saturday, July 25th at 9:00 am, we will be hosting a breakfast potluck at WCC. This will give us a chance to catch up with each other or even get to know each other better in a more intimate setting.
There will also be a Devotional shared that morning by Jennifer Warnisher.
Please bring a breakfast item to share, and feel free to bring a friend or two.
From the beginning of July until August 1st, we will have a drop-off box in the WCC lobby to collect backpacks and school supplies for kids who use the services of Inner City Mission.
A list of the most needed items will be posted on the Bulletin Board.
At 10:00 am on August 1st, we will gather all the supplies and have a time of prayer over these supplies and the children that will be utilizing them.
The items will then be loaded into a vehicle to be transported the following week by a member of the Ministry team.
After we have loaded all the supplies, we will gather back into the WCC Gym to enjoy an easy craft…painting rocks.
All supplies will be provided, including rocks, unless you wish to bring your own supplies or rocks.
Get ready for high adrenaline action as we go into the paintball battlefields on this day trip to Urban Warfare Paintball in Bloomington, IL.
Cost will be $40 per person. Paintball equipment is provided so you don’t need to have your own in order to join us.

Country Hills Golf Course

Swing by for a fun day of golf at Country Hills Golf Course.
We will meet and pay at the golf course.
The cost is $45 per person and includes lunch (Pork Chop Sandwiches), green fee, and cart.
The day starts at 9:00 am, and it will be a shotgun start.
All ages and skill levels are welcome!
You can sign up to play in the WCC lobby. Please sign up by August 10th.
Junior High (5th-8th Grade) is from 3:15 to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesdays. Students will be picked up after school in the junior high back parking lot by the church vans and then taken back to WCC for snax, games, and Bible study.
High School (9th-12th Grade) will meet at WCC from 6:15-7:30 pm on Wednesdays. There will be pizza and snax, games, worship, and a Bible study.
After an exciting home game, come out to WCC from 9:00 to 11:00 pm for all sorts of post-game fun, including 9-square, hockey, volleyball, video games, pizza, and snax!!!! For JH & HS students!
Join us as we serve the guests at the Helping Hands shelter by providing them with a homemade grilled cheese meal. Three ways you can get involved:
Come to WCC at 3:30 pm to help us cook the meal,
Come to WCC at 5:00 pm to carpool over with us to Helping Hands to help serve the meal to the guests, or
Help with both!

On Saturday, September 26th at 9:00 am, we will once again gather to discuss another wonderful book of the Bible that follows our previous focus on the Gospels.
We will be going through the book of Acts. If you want to get ahead, please begin reading and studying Acts. By mid-August, there will be a study guide that will help us to better understand Acts.
We will be meeting once again at Rebecca Gray’s house for a light breakfast. Cindy Krebs will be leading this discussion about the continuing account of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Join us for the Annual Ladies Bunco Night! We will meet to laugh, share a meal and enjoy each others company, play Bunco, win prizes and crown a new Bunco Queen!
This is always a fun night and if you don’t know how to play, don’t let that stop you. We will teach you and keep it super simple. Bring a friend, an appetizer or dessert to share and a new or gently used gift (unwrapped) for the prize table. Girls age 10+ are welcome with an adult.

Following the movie, we’ll be eating dinner at Culver's on Dirksen

All Youth Kids! Do you have the need for speed, or do you want to show off your mini golf skills? Join us for an evening of Mini Golf and Go-Kart racing at Knights Action Park!
We will meet at the church at 5:45 pm and carpool over to the park for a (K)night of fun!

Attention Junior High Kids! Start your summer off right at WCC with exciting team games. A delicious lunch will be served as well as snacks. There will be a special time connecting with Jesus through a Bible lesson.
This event will start at 11:30am and ends at 2:00pm.

Dodgeball is back! All ages are welcome (including adults and kids). Assemble your team to battle it out in the WCC Gym to secure the title of WCC Dodgeball Champions!
You must sign up on the Youth bulletin board in the WCC Narthex to participate!

Junior High and High School Kids - Do you enjoy making fun videos? Well, here is your opportunity to make a movie and possibly and win an Oscar at the end of the night! Join us at WCC for the first Youth Oscars where you and your friends will pick a movie scene, act it out and at the end of the night, we will premier and share the short films that have been made and prizes will be given out. Will you be the next Oscar winner for actor, writer or funniest comedy and more.

Ice Skating: February 20th @ 7:00 pm-9:30 pm
Junior High and High School: lace up your skates and join us for this cool event where we will go ice skating at the Nelson Center Ice Rink in Springfield. Meet up at WCC parking lot at 7pm! The cost for skating will be $8.
